Well, I have decided to enter the blogging world. My primary tool to interact with the public has been through my web site: http://www.railgoat.railfan.net/ which I have been building and updating since the summer of 1995. It is the result of many years of research into the history of North American freight cars. Initially my interest was in SP/T&NO freight cars, but that interest has grown considerably over the years to include the fleets of many other railroads, leasing companies, shippers and even military freight cars. I hope to use this blog in addition to my involvement in several Facebook and groups.io freight car related groups to discuss which direction my web site is headed and what I happen to be actively working on at the time.
